PERCUSSIONS (A)  Folklore:

Discovery of the different drums and voices  weaving the polirythmy (for example, in the Rumba : Clave, Guagua, tres, hembra and quinto) their respectiv fonction in the different folk rhythms such as : Guaguanco, Yambu and Columbia, Bembe, Comparsa, Mozambique, Arara, Palo, Congo,  Gaga, Tumba Francesa, Vodoun and so on.
Practice on the specific technics used in the folklore.
Work on Sets of Bells, Kata, Bombos, Cajones, etc. Introduction to Batas, (sacred Drums trio of Santeria,)

PERCUSSIONS (B) popular music (Salsa)

(Son, Montuno, Cha Cha Cha, Guajira, Guaracha, Mambo, Songo, Timba, Pilon, Merengue etc,)
Classes on the instruments and palying  techniques as they are used in the popular or dance music.
Interractiv  work with the rest of the rhythm section.
The different patterns used in  specific parts of an arrangement.
Practice of Tumbadoras, Timbales, Bongos, Shekeres, Bells, Maracas,  etc.
The classes will be adapted to your level from very Professionel to the beginners,
initiation for the beginners or improvement, techniques of solo, Breaks and Cierres for the advanced.
We will complete this practice with group rehearsals.
